Hi, I'm Shirelle!

I’ve always wanted to own my own business, but the truth
is—I was in my own way. I was looking for the perfect business to launch
at the perfect time. The “perfect time” does not exist.

In my 20’s I learned how to make candles, and I really
enjoyed the craft. I had to hit the pause button on making candles to focus
on raising my daughter, accomplishing goals like finishing school, and everything
life presented along the way that was priority.

My daughter is currently in college and my career has taken
off! I stumbled across some of my candle making supplies one day, and felt the
gentle pull of the craft. I thought to myself, why not start a candle making
business?! Savvy Handcrafts was created a few months later. Little did I
know the candle making process changed tremendously. Now there are many more
tools at my disposal and the options are endless for vessels and fragrance
oils.

I spend the majority of my time at my home office, so
it is very important that I create an atmosphere that is cozy, positive, and
inspiring. Burning candles not only create a vibe, they fill your space with an
aroma that lifts your mood. My goal is to encourage others to create their
perfect ambiance using our handcrafted sustainable products!
